Robert L. Heiny Student-Athlete Scholarship

The Robert L. Heiny Student-Athlete Scholarship is awarded to a student-athlete that must meet and maintain UNC Admissions, GPA and test standards, and NCAA, Big Sky (or applicable conference) and UNC eligibility requirements. The recipient must be a high-achieving varsity, undergraduate or graduate, student-athlete with a minimum GPA of 3.5. Preference shall be given to a student-athlete majoring in Mathematics. If no student-athlete in Mathematics major is identified who meets the specified criteria, the recipient shall be a student-athlete with a major in the College of Natural and Health Sciences. Preference shall be given to a student-athlete who exhibits leadership qualities through participation in the Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC). Award is renewable is the recipient remains eligible.
