Welcome to the 2023-2024 UNC Scholarship Application!
Fill out an application: This application applies you to all Foundation scholarships that are available. In order to qualify for any scholarships, you must fill out the UNC Scholarship Application by clicking the yellow “Sign In” button. NOTE: You must have a Bear Number to complete the application.

UNC Scholarship application Guide
Automatically matched scholarships: Once you complete the UNC Scholarship Application you will be matched with scholarships for which you immediately qualify – no further action is required. Qualifying does not guarantee that you will receive a scholarship.
Apply-To Scholarships: There are some scholarships that will need additional questions, essays or applications completed before you can qualify. These scholarships will be visible on your dashboard once your general application is complete. You may also view a list of the scholarships for which you may be eligible by choosing the “Recommended” option from the drop-down list under “Opportunities”. Qualifying does not guarantee that you will receive a scholarship.
Starts in mid-February and continues throughout the summer. You can check the status of the scholarship(s) you applied to on your applications/dashboard page.

If you are an Applicant or Scholarship Administrator, please sign in using your UNC Login and password. If you need help with your UNC Login
or password, please click on trouble signing in.
For UNC employees that are also students: Please be sure to login with your STUDENT ID and PASSWORD, and not your employee ID and password. When logging in from a work computer, be sure to use a Google Chrome “New incognito window”. This will ensure the application identifies you as a student and not an employee. Check your applicant record after you submit, if blank you did not complete as a student.
