George and Liz Sage Scholar-Athlete Scholarship

The George and Liz Sage Scholar-Athlete Scholarship is awarded to student athletes. To qualify for this opportunity the applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75+; meet and maintain UNC admissions, GPA & test scores as well as NCAA, Big Sky and UNC eligibility requirement;. and demonstrate financial need by Level 1 or Level 2 classification with preference to those whose needs are not fully met by Pell or other need-based federally subsidized grant and who seek loans to finance education. Preference to a student-athlete who is a member of varsity baseball or men’s basketball team.

Please note that this scholarship is part of your athletic contract and is not an additional scholarship.
