Dorothy D. Sandusky Scholarship for Rural Education

The Dorothy D. Sandusky Scholarship for Rural Education is awarded to students majoring in a teacher preparation program. To qualify for this opportunity the applicant must be majoring in teacher preparation program; must have a 3.0+ GPA; must be classified as a junior or senior; must demonstrate financial need; and must be preparing to teach in a rural community. If there are no eligible recipients preparing to teach in a rural community, a recipient preparing to teach in an under served area may be selected.
