CHFA Building the Future Scholarship

The CHFA Building the Future Scholarship is awarded to students who are interested in a potential career related to affordable housing and economic development. To qualify for this opportunity the applicant must have a 2.5+ cumulative GPA; demonstrate financial need; and be a Colorado resident. Preference for recipient to be enrolled in a program in the Monfort College of Business. If there are insufficient applicants enrolled in a program in the Monfort College of Business, preference for majors aligned most closely to a potential career related to affordable housing and economic development. Preference for recipient to be the first generation in their family to attend college. Preference for recipient to identify as a member of an underrepresented community. Preference for recipient to have sophomore class standing or higher and intend to utilize the scholarship for a full academic year. An exception may be made if the recipient is graduating early.
