Roy T. Wardell Scholarship

The Roy T. Wardell Scholarship is awarded to full-time undergraduate students with a declared major in the College of Visual and Performing Arts. To qualify for this opportunity the applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student with a declared major in the College of Performing and Visual Arts (be a student with a major in the School of Music, School of Theatre Arts & Dance, or School of Arts & Design); demonstrate financial need; be a first generation student (defined by UNC first generation student if neither their biological nor adoptive parents have completed a 4 year college degree); recipient shall be a freshman in their first academic year. Preference for students who demonstrate academic achievement and promise (i.e. strong GPA)
