James Elmer and Laura Dreier Newton Scholarship

The James Elmer and Laura Dreier Newton Scholarship is awarded to the sophomore student who received the award as a freshman provided the recipient is still enrolled in the Professional Teacher Education Program. This scholarship is renewed to the student who received Scholarship A last year. The recipient does not need to demonstrate financial need. If the prior year recipient is not enrolled in the Professional Teacher Education Program, this scholarship is awarded to any sophomore student who graduated from Mead High School in Mead, Colorado and has been accepted into the Professional Teacher Education Program.
