Poudre School District Become a Teacher Program Scholarship

The Poudre School District Become a Teacher Program Scholarship is awarded to students who are interested in becoming a teacher in one of Poudre School District’s hard-to-fill areas as defined by the Donor to address the teacher shortage, as part of a comprehensive staff education and career advancement program. To qualify for this opportunity the applicant must be a student in the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences; must be an education major; must be interested in becoming a teacher in one of Poudre School District’s hard-to-fill areas as defined by the Donor to address the teacher shortage, as part of a comprehensive staff education and career advancement program; must be currently employed by the Poudre School District, has been so continuously for a minimum of 3 months, is working at least 15 hour per week, and has a recommendation from their supervisor for the scholarship (all details must be confirmed by Poudre School District); must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA; recipients will be chosen by priority levels – Level I: 1) has obtained an associate degree (A.A or A.S.), and/or 2) currently employed as an Integrated Services Professional I or II; Level II: has obtained a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
