*** Hummel Family Scholarship Program - Teacher Education

The Hummel Family Scholarship Program – Teacher Education is awarded to students who attend or desire to attend the University and who are seeking K-12 teacher licensure. To qualify for this opportunity the applicant must be enrolled as a full-time student at the University; be seeking teacher licensure, majoring in any discipline with the intent to become a K-12 educator; have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75+ out of 4.0 (or the corresponding grade if the 4.0 GPA scale is not used); be an undergraduate student; demonstrate financial need; and, be in good academic standing with the University. Preference shall be given to applicants with demonstrated contributions to society (e.g. volunteerism, good citizenship, extra-curricular activities) and applicants who are part of the first generation of their family to attend college.
