Linda Morgensen PEO Scholarship

The Linda Morgensen P.E.O. Scholarship was established in memory of Linda Morgensen, a longtime Greeley resident and supporter of many community programs. Linda was trained as a teacher and believed in the importance of education. She was a devoted member of P.E.O. Chapter BE in Greeley.

Applicants must be undergraduate women majoring in elementary education or nursing/health sciences at the University of Northern Colorado. The student must have demonstrated financial need, a minimum GPA of 2.5, be a US citizen, and show great potential for success in the chosen field. This scholarship also requires the completion of an online application which includes at least one letter of recommendation from a teacher or counselor; a transcript of grades (or GED certificate); a personal statement, and a copy your/your parents’ Tax Form 1040.

• The application process is totally online, through Google Forms
• This is a one-year, non-renewable scholarship
• The application deadline is March 31st at 4pm
• Late or incomplete applications will not be considered
