*** ACS-Hach Land Grant Scholarship

The ACS-Hach Land Grant Scholarship is awarded to chemistry majors or eligible chemistry-related disciplines. To qualify for this opportunity the applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student majoring in chemistry or eligible chemistry-related disciplines* or a graduate student pursuing a degree in education who has earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a chemistry-related discipline; maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0+; be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of the U.S.; and express their intention to become a high school chemistry teacher after earning pursued degree. Each scholar must agree to submit a brief annual written statement to the Donor describing their career status for the first five years following graduation. *(Chemistry related disciplines such as Agricultural Chemistry Biochemistry, Ceramic Science/ Chemistry/Technology, Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, Environmental Science/Engineering (must be chemistry-based), Forensic Science/Chemistry, Food Science (not Nutrition), Industrial Chemistry, Materials Science or Petroleum Engineering, Nanotechnology or Nano Science, Paper and Pulp Technology, or Toxicology)
